Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you book or buy through one, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It helps keep the blog free and the tank full. I only link to things I've used or would happily use.

Sponsored stories

When a trip, stay or product was paid for or supported by a partner, the story is labelled Sponsored and says who the partner was. Sponsors never get to approve or edit what I write.

Privacy

This site does not use advertising cookies or track you across the web. Visitor numbers are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or collect personal information.

If you join the newsletter, your email address is stored by my newsletter provider and used only to send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe with one click from any email. To have your details removed, email hello@example.com. This is in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
