Hello, and welcome. I’m a retired South African with a full tank, a flask of rooibos and a long list of places I always said I’d see “one day”. One day turned out to be now.

Some trips I take solo — just me, a good book and whatever the road brings. Others are family affairs, with grandchildren in the back seat asking “are we there yet?” before we’ve left the N3.
